Brief history of religious duties qurban.

Qurban which we conduct . imitating what conducted by prophet Ibrahim As. Rasulullah SAW command us for the “qurban”. As according what conducted by Ibrahim as family to allah swt.

Ibrahim As with his family, always tested by Allah SWT. That matter, of course as way to test the patience and adherence to Allah swt. after Ismail mount adolescent, Allah order to slaughter ismail for the qurban to Allah SWT. Allah SWT command Ibrahim AS to slaughter his child via dream during several times.

This story is narrated in Al-Qur'An. prophet ibrahim narrate his dream to ismail, he dream that he slaughter ismail, .ibrahim ask the opinion from ismail. then ismail order his father to do what commanded by Allah SWT.

Prophet Ibrahim AS very obey to Allah SWT. After discussing with ismail, finally procession of slaughter Ismail become conducted. blessing of Candidness and adherence Ibrahim and Ismail. finally Allah deliver a sheep to replace prophet ismail. Prophet Ibrahim slaughter the sheep witnessed Prophet of Ismail and angel.
